Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyman/Journeywoman Plumber to join our team working in the Roaring Fork Valley. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of plumbing systems and construction practices, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in various settings, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and building codes. Duties Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine layout requirements. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various plumbing tasks. Perform pipe threading, assembly, and installation of fixtures such as sinks, toilets, and water heaters. Conduct routine maintenance checks on plumbing systems to identify potential issues. Collaborate with other construction professionals on-site to ensure project timelines are met. Adhere to safety protocols while working on construction sites. Provide field service support for plumbing emergencies as needed. Skills Proficient in construction plumbing techniques and practices. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot plumbing issues. Experience with welding and carpentry is a plus. Familiarity with heating systems is important and is paid extra for Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job. Basic math skills for measuring and calculating pipe lengths and fittings. Previous experience in construction site environments is preferred. Knowledge of maintenance procedures for plumbing systems.
