Full-Time Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Plumbing Install Manager to lead and oversee our residential plumbing installation department. The Install Manager is responsible for managing installation technicians, maintaining quality standards, ensuring code compliance, improving operational efficiency, and delivering an exceptional customer experience. This position requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to coordinate multiple projects while meeting company performance goals. Key Responsibilities Manage the daily operations of the plumbing installation department. Schedule and coordinate installation jobs for maximum efficiency. Supervise, mentor, and develop plumbing installers and apprentices. Perform regular field inspections to ensure workmanship meets company standards and Connecticut plumbing code requirements. Conduct ride-alongs, coaching sessions, and performance evaluations. Ensure all installations are completed safely, accurately, and on schedule. Monitor job profitability, labor costs, and material usage. Collaborate with the sales department to ensure seamless project handoffs. Resolve customer concerns professionally and in a timely manner. Maintain inventory levels and coordinate material ordering with warehouse personnel. Enforce OSHA safety standards and company safety policies. Review completed jobs for quality assurance and customer satisfaction. Assist in hiring, onboarding, and training new installation personnel. Track departmental KPIs including revenue, productivity, callbacks, gross profit, and customer satisfaction. Foster a positive, accountable, and team-oriented work environment. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of residential plumbing installation experience. Previous leadership or management experience preferred. Strong knowledge of Connecticut plumbing codes and industry best practices. Connecticut Plumbing License preferred Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to read technical drawings. Proficiency with scheduling and field service software (ServiceTitan experience is a plus). Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Preferred Skills Experience managing installation teams of multiple technicians. Budgeting and labor management experience. Strong customer service and conflict resolution skills. Ability to analyze performance metrics and implement process improvements. Experience with water heaters, tankless systems, water treatment, sewer replacements, repipes, well systems, and fixture installations. Physical Requirements Ability to work both in the office and in the field. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to climb ladders, work in crawl spaces, and inspect active job sites as needed.
