Competitive hourly rate $35-50 an hour (based on experience) + benefits Job Overview We are seeking skilled and dependable Plumbers to join our team for a new construction luxury apartment complex located on the waterfront in Bridgeport, CT . This is a great opportunity to work on a high-profile residential development from the ground up. The ideal candidate has experience in new construction plumbing, understands large-scale multi-unit projects, and takes pride in high-quality workmanship. Key Responsibilities Install plumbing systems for multi-unit residential buildings (rough-in and finish work) Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction drawings Install water supply lines, drainage systems, and fixtures Work with PVC, CPVC, copper, cast iron, and PEX piping systems Assemble and install plumbing fixtures such as sinks, toilets, faucets, and water heaters Coordinate with general contractors, site supervisors, and other trades Ensure all work complies with Connecticut plumbing codes and safety regulations Perform pressure testing, inspections, and system troubleshooting Maintain a clean and organized work area Requirements Valid Connecticut P1 or P2 Plumbing License (preferred; apprentices considered with experience) 3+ years of plumbing experience, preferably in new residential construction or multi-family projects Experience working on large-scale apartment or condo developments is highly preferred Ability to read blueprints and follow technical specifications Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship OSHA 10 certification (preferred) Reliable transportation to Bridgeport job site Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in active construction environments Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bridgeport, CT. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $48.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
