In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across light commercial and residential sites. Duties Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately install plumbing systems in new constructions or remodeling projects Install, repair, and maintain plumbing fixtures, pipes, valves, and related mechanical components using hand tools and power tools Perform pipe threading, welding, and assembly tasks to ensure secure connections and compliance with safety standards Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues and perform necessary repairs or replacements Operate heavy lifting equipment and perform site-specific tasks such as remodeling or maintenance work on existing plumbing infrastructure Follow all safety protocols on construction sites, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), to maintain a safe working environment Qualifications Proven experience as a Journeyman Plumber with a strong background in construction plumbing and site work Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, welding techniques, and basic math skills for measurements and calculations Experience with remodeling, maintenance work, field service tasks, and handyman activities is highly desirable Valid driver's license Physical ability to perform heavy lifting, climb ladders or scaffolding, and work in confined spaces for extended periods
