Inspects, installs, repairs and replaces pipes, fittings, and plumbing fixtures to maintain domestic water, gas and drainage systems. Cuts, bends, threads and fits pipes with adjoining pipe assemblies. Caulks leaks and opens clogged drains. Responds to fire and disaster drills as assigned. Attends all department/hospital in-service orientation and and other meetings as required. Repairs sinks, showers, toilets, water heaters and related plumbing fixtures. Maintains established ARAMARK and CCMC policies, procedures and objectives for quality assurance and safety. Displays polite spirit-of-service attitude towards customers and co-workers. Maintains friendly, efficient and responsive attitude toward client and client's customers/patients while performing job duties. Interprets blue prints and works from sketches or verbal instructions. Drives / operates the Company's vehicle responsibly. Willing to interact with co-workers in a team atmosphere in order to help find a better way to perform job. Inspects completed work to ensure compliance with engineering specifications and local building codes. Performs all work in accordance with ARAMARK and CCMC regulatory safety procedures and requirements including NFPA, EPA, OSHA, JCAHO, state county and local agencies. Estimates labor and material costs for projects, submits requisition for materials. Performs preventative maintenance, repair, and corrective action on all plumbing systems. Performs other related duties as required. Demonstrates support for the mission, values and goals of the organization through behaviors that are consistent with the
CCMC STANDARDS.

Experience Required:

High School diploma or GED required.
Experience Required:
Familiarity with plumbing codes required. Ability to read blueprints required. Ability to read, follow instructions, and use basic math skills required. Incumbent must be flexible and adapt easily to changes in schedule, work assignments and environments, including working weekends, holidays and on-call hours. License and/or
Certification Required:
Requires minimum P-2 license. P-1 Preferred CT driver's license and clean driving record required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
Ability to read blueprints desired. Ability to read, follow instructions, and use basic math skills required. In addition, incumbent must be flexible and adapt easily to changes in schedule, work assignments and environments, including working weekends, holidays, and on-call hours.
