Full Job Description Description:
An Apprentice Plumber II is responsible for assembling pipes, cleaning the water supply, handling tools, and cleaning job sites. The Apprentice Plumber can expect to assist in complex jobs and handle smaller jobs on their own. Travel as needed as required.
Requirements:
Job Responsibilities (List is not inclusive) Must demonstrate the willingness to excel and learn commercial plumbing. Determine the right tools and equipment necessary to successfully complete the job. Must learn industry relevant building codes and regulations for the installation and maintenance of commercial plumbing systems. Measure, cut and bend pipe material. Must be on jobsite at required time. Attend all safety meetings. Follow instruction given by on-site leadership. Cleaning the job site after the work is completed. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to listen to instructions and follow through with requests. Familiar with plumbing tools and equipment. Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Detail oriented and organized. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and able to complete Form I-9 upon hire. Employment subject to E-Verify confirmation. Must be able to travel to multiple construction sites within the U.S. and present acceptable identification for security or travel purposes. Reliable transportation and ability to meet job-site access requirements. Education and Experience High school diploma or GED preferred but not required. OSHA 10 Certification required. No experience necessary but preferred. Physical Requirements Required to stand, walk, and sit. Talk or hear, both in person and by telephone. Use hand (s) and fingers to handle or feel objects or controls. Reach with hand (s) and arm (s). Regularly required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift up to 50 pounds. CMSFOR1
