Health Insurance,, 401(k), Opportunities for Overtime Job Summary We are seeking experienced Medical Gas Plumbers to join our team on a Dental Facility construction project . The ideal candidate will have experience installing, testing, and commissioning medical gas and vacuum systems in healthcare environments while maintaining strict compliance with
VA, NFPA
99, and project-specific requirements. Responsibilities Install medical gas piping systems, including oxygen, nitrous oxide, vacuum, compressed air, and related systems. Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, shop drawings, and project schedules. Braze copper piping in accordance with NFPA 99 standards using approved procedures. Install pipe supports, equipment connections, valves, alarm panels, and medical gas outlets. Conduct pressure testing, purging, and system verification as directed. Coordinate work with project managers, superintendents, inspectors, and other trades. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area. Follow all OSHA safety regulations and VA project safety requirements. Accurately document completed work and assist during inspections and commissioning activities. Qualifications Minimum 3 years of commercial plumbing experience required. Medical gas installation experience preferred. Current Medical Gas Installer Certification (ASSE 6010) preferred or required. Ability to braze medical gas piping according to NFPA 99 standards. Experience working in healthcare, government, or federal facilities is a plus. Ability to read construction drawings and specifications. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Reliable transportation and ability to pass site-specific requirements. Requirements. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work from ladders, lifts, and scaffolding. Preferred Experience VA, hospital, dental clinic, or healthcare construction projects.
ASSE 6010
