Commercial Construction Plumber

This position will report to Nash Plumbing and Mechanical, LLC, a subsidiary of HB Global. Job Summary Nash Plumbing and Mechanical, LLC is seeking a skilled Commercial Construction Plumber to install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems in commercial and industrial settings, ensuring compliance with all relevant codes and safety standards. Job Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to determine the layout of plumbing systems, water supply networks, and waste disposal systems. Install and repair various plumbing fixtures, including sinks, toilets, water heaters, and drainage systems, in commercial buildings. Cut, thread, and bend pipes to specifications using hand and power tools. Assemble and install pipes, fittings, and fixtures made of various materials (e.g., copper, PVC, PEX, cast iron) using appropriate techniques. Test plumbing systems for leaks and other issues using pressure gauges and other diagnostic tools. Troubleshoot and resolve plumbing problems, including clogs, leaks, and fixture malfunctions. Adhere to all local, state, and federal plumbing codes and safety regulations. Collaborate with other construction trades and project managers to ensure efficient project completion. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Document all work performed, including materials used and time spent. Job Qualifications Journeyman Plumber license required. Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial plumbing construction. Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings. Strong knowledge of plumbing codes and safety regulations. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects, bend, stoop, and work in confined spaces. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred.
