Veterans Preference SUMMARY:
This position will report to Nash Plumbing and Mechanical, LLC, a subsidiary of HB Global.
Position:
Commercial Construction Plumber. Seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial Construction Plumber to install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems in various commercial and industrial settings. This role involves working on new construction projects, renovations, and service calls, ensuring all work complies with local codes and safety regulations.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS
High school diploma or Equivalent Journeyman Plumber license required. Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial plumbing construction. Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings. Knowledge of plumbing codes and safety regulations. Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects, bend, stoop, and work in confined spaces due to nature of job. Valid driver's license required for travel. OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred. Employer conducts background check, and drug screen.
ESSENTIAL
DUTIES and
RESPONSIBILITIES
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to determine the layout of plumbing systems, water supply networks, and waste disposal systems. Install and repair various plumbing fixtures, including sinks, toilets, water heaters, and drainage systems, in commercial buildings. Cut, thread, and bend pipes to specifications using hand and power tools. Assemble and install pipes, fittings, and fixtures made of various materials (e.g., copper, PVC, PEX, cast iron) using appropriate techniques. Test plumbing systems for leaks and other issues using pressure gauges and other diagnostic tools. Troubleshoot and resolve plumbing problems, including clogs, leaks, and fixture malfunctions. Adhere to all local, state, and federal plumbing codes and safety regulations. Collaborate with other construction trades and project managers to ensure efficient project completion. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Document all work performed, including materials used and time spent. Perform other duties as assigned.

Full Time/40 hours per week.
