Landing Gear Technologies is an FAA Certified Repair Station specializing in the repair and overhaul of aircraft landing gears and components. Plumbing Technicians report to the Lead Technician for their assigned department and are responsible for assuring all assigned tasks are executed correctly and in accordance with FAR, current manufacturers' instructions, and this manual as applicable. Plumbing Technicians are also responsible for ascertaining the shop equipment and tooling used during the assigned tasks, making sure they are in serviceable working condition, and maintain workstations in a clean and orderly manner. They are to ensure the technical data is correct and current pertaining to the task being performed and that required work records are properly executed. Hydraulic/Plumbing Technician Duties and Responsibilities Work with various types of metals and plated finishes Dimensionally size and measure parts according to customer specifications Fill out required information on work travelers Use rotary, air-powered hand tools to clean and maintain hydraulic tubing used throughout the landing gear Maintain a clean and orderly workspace Perform additional duties and responsibilities that may be assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:

Hydraulic/Plumbing Technicians job requirements: Good written and oral communications skills. Mechanically inclined. Ability to perform job functions with little or no supervision. High School Diploma or equivalent. A minimum of three years' experience working on landing gear. Prior experience in working in a

FAA/EASA

Certified Repair Station Operation.

Physical Requirements:

Maintain physical condition appropriate to the performance of assigned duties and responsibilities which include walking, climbing, standing, bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, reaching, or similar activities for extended periods of time. Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in designated areas (safety glasses, gloves, safety shoes, and hearing protection) with or without reasonable accommodation. Able to lift, support and move 40 pounds.
