Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Commercial Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of plumbing systems and be able to work independently or as part of a team. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in various settings, including residential and commercial properties. A successful Plumber will demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and mechanical knowledge while ensuring compliance with all safety regulations. Duties Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances. Install cast iron, PVC, CPVC, Pex-A pipe (Uponor), Copper pipe and fittings. Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for various plumbing tasks. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of plumbing systems with little to no assistance. Assemble and build plumbing components according to specifications. Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify potential issues. Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as carpenters, to ensure seamless project execution. Apply basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations during installations. Maintain a clean and safe work environment while adhering to safety protocols. Must have a strong work ethic and a desire to elevate the team as a whole. Prompt arrival to job sites as scheduled. Experience 2+ years minimum as a Commercial Plumbing Foreman Valid FL driver's license. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly, work outdoors in all weather conditions, work on uneven surfaces, sit/stand/bend for long periods of time, work from ladders, or from heights. Familiarity with power tools and hand tools commonly used in plumbing tasks. The successful applicant will also own their own tools. Willingness to follow company policies and procedures Strong mechanical knowledge is essential for troubleshooting and repairs as well as the ability to be a problem solver.
