We are growing and looking for an experienced Finish Carpenter who takes pride in precision work and understands that the final details define the project.POSITION OVERVIEW
The Journeyman Plumber is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems on commercial construction projects. This role requires strong technical knowledge, the ability to work from blueprints, and a commitment to safety and quality. The ideal candidate is dependable, experienced in commercial plumbing systems, and capable of working independently or leading apprentices when needed. This position reports to the Superintendent or Plumbing Foreman.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Install commercial plumbing systems including water supply, drainage, waste, and vent systems
- Install fixtures, valves, water heaters, and specialty plumbing equipment
- Perform underground plumbing and slab rough-ins
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and specifications
- Ensure all installations meet local building codes and project requirements
- Perform pressure testing and inspections of systems
- Troubleshoot and repair plumbing systems as needed
- Coordinate with other trades to maintain workflow and project timelines
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean job site
- Follow OSHA safety guidelines and company safety standards
QUALIFICATIONS
- Active Florida Journeyman Plumber license (Required)
- 5+ years of commercial plumbing experience (Required)
- Soldering & brazing experience (Preferred)
- Experience with Cast Iron (Preferred)
- Medical Gas experience (Preferred
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
- Strong understanding of commercial plumbing codes and standards
- Experience with underground, rough-in, and finish plumbing
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and work in various jobsite conditions
- Reliable transportation
- Strong work ethic and team-oriented mindset
