Plumber, Plant Facilities Department, Days Baptist Medical Center Beacher The Facilitites Plumber is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems throughout the hospital to ensure a safe and functional environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Duties include troubleshooting water, drainage, and medical gas systems; performing preventative maintenance; and responding promptly to urgent plumbing needs to support uninterrupted hospital operations. Plumber, you will be responsible for: Plumbers will understand plumbing principles, pipe layout, blueprints, drain & vent systems, valve application, water supply, material types and usage's. Uses blueprints and plumbing principles of drainage and vent systems to locate and clear stoppages with sever machines. Installs valves and piping materials properly suited for type of system being repaired or installed. Repairs all types of plumbing fixtures, faucets and flush valves. Takes apart equipment, determine the problem or faulty part and reassemble the equipment to a working order. Experinece required Plumbers will understand plumbing principles, pipes layout, blueprints, drain & vent systems, valve application, water supply, material types and usage's. Uses blueprints and plumbing principles of drainage and vent systems to locate and clear stoppages with sever machines Installs valves and piping materials properly suited for type of system being repaired or installed Repairs all types of plumbing fixtures, faucets and flush valves Takes apart equipment, determine the problem or faulty part and reassemble the equipment to a working order. This position may be called upon to perform other duties and responsibilities outside the normal job classification yet still within the department.
