As a Plumbing Install Helper, you will assist skilled plumbers with installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems on residential sites. Responsibilities Assist experienced plumbers with pipe installation, fitting, and assembly using hand tools and power tools Support the setup of plumbing systems according to blueprints and technical drawings Help with pipe threading, cutting, and measuring to ensure precise installation Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and proper power tool safety procedures Aid in the maintenance and repair of plumbing systems on-site as needed Interpret basic technical drawings and blueprints to assist with project tasks Carry out general labor tasks such as moving materials, cleaning work areas, and organizing tools and supplies Experience Construction experience or background in construction plumbing is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided Familiarity with construction site operations and safety protocols is advantageous Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to pipe fitting and layout Experience reading blueprints or technical drawings is a plus Knowledge of mechanical systems, pipe threading, welding, or handyman skills will enhance your effectiveness in this role Strong work ethic with a focus on safety compliance and teamwork Customer service mindset when interacting with team members or site visitors Embark on a rewarding journey in the trades industry!
