In this energetic role, you will assist skilled plumbers in installing, maintaining, and repairing commercial plumbing systems. Responsibilities Assist lead plumbers with installing, repairing, and maintaining commercial plumbing systems according to blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications Prepare work sites by gathering tools, materials, and equipment such as hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, and welding gear Support the assembly and installation of pipes, fixtures, valves, and other plumbing components on construction sites Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate installation procedures Maintain a clean and organized work environment by properly handling tools and disposing of waste materials Follow safety protocols diligently to ensure a safe working environment for all team members Support the team with remodeling, maintenance tasks, or handyman duties as needed on various projects Previous experience in construction or construction plumbing is preferred but not required; a strong willingness to learn is essential Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and basic welding techniques Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and mechanical drawings accurately Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to pipe fitting and layout Experience working on construction sites with exposure to remodeling or maintenance projects Valid field service experience or handyman background is advantageous Ability to work effectively in a team environment with good communication skills Work Environment Indoor and outdoor job sites Tight spaces or elevated locations Variable weather conditions Use of protective gear (gloves, boots, goggles, etc.) This role offers an engaging environment where your contributions directly impact the success of large-scale commercial projects.
