Job Summary Pool Plumber - Swimming Pool Construction Hang 10 Pools | South Florida Hang 10 Pools is looking for an experienced Pool Plumber to join our construction team. We are seeking someone who understands swimming pool plumbing systems, works efficiently in the field, and takes pride in clean, professional installations. This position focuses primarily on new pool construction and remodel plumbing . Responsibilities Install plumbing for new residential and commercial swimming pools and spas Perform pool rough plumbing and equipment-set plumbing Install PVC suction and return lines Install skimmer, main drain, vacuum, spa, and feature plumbing Plumb pool pumps, filters, heaters, salt systems, automation, and other equipment Install plumbing for waterfalls, bubblers, deck jets, spa jets, and other water features Pressure test plumbing systems and identify/repair leaks Read pool construction plans and plumbing layouts Properly size, route, cut, glue, and secure PVC piping Coordinate with excavation, steel, gunite, electrical, and deck crews Maintain a clean and organized job site Follow company safety procedures and Florida construction requirements Keep company vehicles, tools, and materials organized Qualifications Minimum 2 years of pool plumbing experience preferred Experience with new pool construction strongly preferred Strong knowledge of PVC pool plumbing and equipment installations Ability to read construction plans and plumbing layouts Experience with pool/spa equipment and water features Ability to troubleshoot leaks and plumbing problems Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to lift materials and work outdoors in Florida weather Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently Must communicate professionally with supervisors, other trades, and customers What We're Looking For We want someone who takes pride in doing the job correctly the first time. Clean plumbing, proper pipe routing, attention to detail, and reliability are extremely important to our company. The ideal candidate is experienced enough to take a pool plumbing layout from the plans and complete the installation with minimal supervision. Schedule Full-Time - Monday through Friday Some overtime or occasional weekend work may be available depending on project schedules. Compensation Competitive pay based on pool plumbing experience and skill level. Higher compensation is available for experienced pool plumbers who can independently complete rough plumbing and equipment sets. Service Area Projects are located throughout Southeast Florida , including St. Lucie, Martin, Palm Beach, Broward, and surrounding areas. Multiple job sites throughout Southeast Florida Duties Install, repair, and maintain pool plumbing systems including water circulation, filtration, and drainage components using hand tools, power tools, and welding techniques. Conduct plumbing inspections using specialized cameras to diagnose issues within complex water systems. Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to accurately assemble and modify plumbing layouts for pools and surrounding structures. Perform drain cleaning, system flushing, and routine maintenance to ensure optimal operation of pool water systems. Operate company vehicles safely to transport tools, materials, and equipment to various construction sites or customer locations. Collaborate with construction teams on site to interpret blueprints, adhere to local building codes, and ensure project specifications are met. Assist with remodeling projects by assembling plumbing fixtures and integrating new components into existing water systems. Use hand tools, power tools, and construction site experience to perform heavy lifting and assembly tasks efficiently. Provide excellent customer service by explaining system functions and maintenance procedures clearly to clients. Follow safety protocols during all phases of installation and repair work to maintain a secure work environment. Experience Proven construction experience with a focus on plumbing installation or repair in residential or commercial settings. Skilled in welding techniques relevant to plumbing applications. Familiarity with construction plumbing standards, blueprint reading, and interpreting technical drawings. Experience with drain cleaning equipment and plumbing inspection cameras is highly desirable. Knowledge of local building codes related to pool water systems and construction site safety regulations. Ability to operate heavy machinery such as forklifts or other construction vehicles is a plus. Strong handyman skills including remodeling, assembly work, and general water system troubleshooting. Basic math skills for measurements, calculations related to pipe sizing or flow rates are essential.
