Multi-Trade Construction Professional Location:
South Florida Position Type:
Full-Time Industry:
Residential & Commercial Construction Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced Master Plumber to join our construction team. The ideal candidate must be more than an experienced plumber — we are specifically looking for a well-rounded construction professional who has solid hands-on experience in multiple areas of construction. Our projects require individuals who can take ownership of their work, solve problems in the field, maintain high-quality standards, and step in to assist with other trades when necessary. We are looking for a true construction professional — not someone who only works within one trade.
Primary Plumbing Responsibilities:
Perform residential and commercial plumbing installations from rough-in through finish. Install and repair water supply, DWV, and vent systems. Install CPVC, PVC, PEX, copper, and other plumbing systems as required. Install toilets, sinks, faucets, showers, tubs, water heaters, and other plumbing fixtures. Install shower valves, mixing valves, hose bibs, cleanouts, and related components. Read and interpret plumbing plans and construction drawings. Perform plumbing pressure tests and inspections. Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing problems. Verify proper slope, drainage, venting, and fixture installation. Coordinate plumbing work with framing, electrical, HVAC, drywall, tile, and other trades. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area. Identify potential problems before they become costly issues. Multi-Trade Experience —
Highly Important:
Applicants must have meaningful hands-on experience outside of plumbing. We strongly prefer candidates who are capable of assisting with several areas of residential construction, such as: Framing. Carpentry. Concrete. Formwork. Rebar. Drywall installation and finishing. Tile installation. Waterproofing. Masonry. Roofing. HVAC. Electrical. General construction. Finish work. You do not need to be a master of every trade , but you should be comfortable working with your hands and have enough experience in other construction disciplines to contribute when plumbing work is not immediately required.
What We Are Looking For:
The ideal candidate is: Highly experienced and knowledgeable in plumbing. A strong problem solver. Extremely attentive to detail. Able to work independently with minimal supervision. Comfortable reading plans and specifications. Capable of measuring, laying out, and executing work accurately. Experienced working on high-quality residential construction. Able to identify and correct mistakes before they become larger problems. Reliable and punctual. Professional with homeowners, contractors, subcontractors, and coworkers. Willing to help wherever needed on the jobsite. Comfortable working as part of a construction team. Quality Is a
Priority:
We are looking for quality — not just speed. Our company is looking for experienced professionals who take pride in their craftsmanship and understand that small details matter. Poor workmanship, shortcuts, lack of attention to detail, or repeatedly having to redo work will not be acceptable. We want someone who looks at a finished installation and can confidently say: "That's the way it should be done."
Qualifications:
Extensive professional plumbing experience. Master Plumber license preferred/required depending on position and scope of work. Strong knowledge of residential plumbing systems. Ability to read construction plans. Experience with new construction preferred. Experience with luxury/high-end residential construction is a major plus. Additional construction trade experience strongly preferred. Valid driver's license preferred. Reliable transportation preferred. Ability to safely perform physical construction work. Ability to work independently and as part of a crew.
Compensation:
Competitive compensation based on experience, qualifications, licensing, and overall construction skill set. Candidates with significant multi-trade experience and exceptional workmanship may qualify for higher compensation. Why Join Us? This position is ideal for a plumber who wants to be part of a professional, hands-on construction team rather than being limited to plumbing work every day.
We value people who are:
Experienced. Reliable. Skilled. Versatile. Detail-oriented. Professional. If you are a highly capable plumber who can also contribute throughout the construction process, we want to hear from you. Apply today and tell us about your plumbing experience and the other construction trades you are experienced in.
