Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction plumbing, with the ability to work on various projects, including residential and commercial installations. The Plumber will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and building codes. Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in accordance with local codes and regulations Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of plumbing systems Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various plumbing tasks Perform pipe threading and assembly for different types of piping materials Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or necessary repairs Collaborate with other construction professionals on-site to ensure project completion Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding plumbing issues Assist in heavy lifting and moving materials as needed on construction sites Apply basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to plumbing installations Qualifications Proven experience in construction plumbing with a strong understanding of plumbing systems Familiarity with welding techniques is a plus Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and other relevant equipment Construction site experience is essential, along with the ability to work in various environments Strong mechanical knowledge and problem-solving skills Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately Experience in HVAC systems is an advantage Valid commercial driving license preferred but not required Maintenance Person experience or skills in carpentry and remodeling are beneficial Must be capable of performing heavy lifting as required by job duties Join our team as a Plumber where your skills will be valued, and you will have the opportunity to grow within a supportive work environment.
