In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing residential plumbing systems with precision and professionalism. Your expertise will ensure that water systems operate efficiently, safely, and in compliance with local building codes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to become the 1st plumber hired by Bray Electrical as the business expands into plumbing services. Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain residential plumbing systems including water supply lines, drain-waste-vent systems, and fixtures using hand tools and power tools. Conduct plumbing inspections using cameras and other diagnostic equipment to identify issues accurately. Perform drain cleaning and unclogging using specialized tools and techniques to ensure optimal flow. Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and construction plans to execute projects precisely according to specifications. Operate company vehicles safely while transporting tools, materials, and equipment to job sites. Adhere to local building codes, safety standards, and plumbing regulations during all phases of work. Collaborate with clients to assess needs, explain repair options, and deliver excellent customer service throughout the project lifecycle. Assist in remodeling projects by assembling plumbing components and integrating new systems into existing structures. Maintain plumbing systems through routine inspections, repairs, and system upgrades to prevent future issues. Use plumbing inspection cameras for detailed diagnostics of hidden pipe problems within walls or underground. Handle heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely on construction sites or residential properties. Qualifications Proven experience in construction plumbing with a solid understanding of residential plumbing systems. Hands-on experience with welding, assembly, remodeling, and construction site work. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, plumbing inspection cameras, and other related equipment. Knowledge of local building codes and regulations governing residential plumbing installations. Mechanical aptitude with the ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients about technical issues. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work on construction sites in various conditions. Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and reading technical specifications. Valid driver's license with experience operating company vehicles responsibly. Bray Electrical & Plumbing offers healthcare insurance, 401k, 10 days of PTO and a company van.
Pay:
$30.00 - $40.00 per hour
