Full-time | Monday•Friday | 7:00 AM•4:30
PM Pay:
$25•$32/hr (based on experience)
What You'll Do:
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on plumbing systems, drains, sewage, sprinkler, and steam systems. Inspect and maintain plumbing components including backflows, fire hydrants, pumps, water heaters, valves, and pressure vessels. Handle corrective and preventive maintenance for natural gas, fuel lines, and steam systems. Assist other trades and coordinate with contractors as needed. Respond to emergency repair calls, including after-hours when required. Maintain logs and complete work orders promptly and professionally.
What We're Looking For:
High school diploma (or equivalent). 1-3 years' experience in plumbing maintenance/repair. Strong knowledge of plumbing installation, repair methods, safety precautions, and tool use. Ability to read and work from blueprints/schematics. Licensing in applicable trade/jurisdiction preferred. Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in a correctional facility environment.
