Job Description

This position requires a technician who can independently troubleshoot plumbing problems, communicate professionally with customers, recommend appropriate repair solutions, and complete high-quality work efficiently and safely. Technicians will perform a wide range of plumbing services, including water supply and drainage repairs, fixture replacement, water heater service, leak detection, drain cleaning, sewer-related repairs, preventative maintenance, and plumbing system installations. A valid driver's license and clean, acceptable driving record are required for field service operations. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair residential and commercial plumbing systems. Troubleshoot water leaks, drainage problems, sewer issues, low water pressure, fixture failures, and other plumbing-related concerns. Repair and replace faucets, toilets, sinks, garbage disposals, valves, supply lines, piping, and other plumbing components. Diagnose, repair, maintain, and install traditional and tankless water heaters. Perform drain cleaning and diagnose clogged or slow-moving drain and sewer systems. Inspect plumbing systems and identify existing or potential problems. Perform preventative maintenance to help reduce failures and extend the life of plumbing equipment and systems. Install new plumbing fixtures, piping, equipment, and components according to manufacturer specifications and applicable plumbing codes. Read and interpret plumbing diagrams, schematics, technical manuals, and manufacturer specifications. Properly use plumbing diagnostic equipment, drain-cleaning equipment, hand tools, power tools, and testing instruments. Identify additional plumbing concerns discovered during service and clearly communicate recommended repairs to customers. Provide customers with clear explanations of findings, repair options, and recommended solutions. Complete work accurately, efficiently, and with a strong attention to workmanship. Maintain clean and professional work areas and protect customers' homes and businesses while performing service. Maintain accurate documentation of diagnostics, repairs, materials used, recommendations, and completed work. Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment in a clean, organized, and professional condition. Follow all company procedures, safety requirements, plumbing codes, and applicable local and state regulations. Participate in field service operations and assist with additional plumbing or property maintenance responsibilities as needed. Qualifications Proven experience as a Plumbing Service Technician, Service Plumber, or similar plumbing professional . Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, including water supply, drainage, waste, venting, fixtures, valves, piping, and water heating systems. Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities. Experience with residential and/or commercial plumbing service and repair. Ability to independently diagnose plumbing problems and determine appropriate repair solutions. Ability to read and understand plumbing diagrams, technical manuals, and manufacturer specifications. Knowledge of applicable plumbing codes and proper installation practices. Experience with water heaters, fixtures, drain systems, leak repairs, and general plumbing service. Drain cleaning and sewer diagnostic experience is preferred. Construction, commercial service, or property maintenance experience is a plus. Ability to safely operate plumbing tools, power equipment, and diagnostic equipment. Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. Professional appearance and strong customer-service skills. Ability to clearly explain plumbing problems and repair recommendations to customers. Ability to work independently while maintaining company quality and performance standards. Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record is required.
