Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Licensed Journeyman Plumber to join our dynamic commercial plumbing team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across various commercial projects. Long days on sites away from home during the week. Must be able to meet at Thomaston shop at 6am. Your expertise will ensure that plumbing systems operate efficiently, safely, and in compliance with all relevant codes and standards. Duties Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately install and repair plumbing systems. Install, maintain, and repair plumbing fixtures, pipes, valves, and fittings using hand tools, power tools, and pipe threading equipment. Perform construction plumbing tasks including pipe fitting, welding, pipe bending, and assembly on-site or in workshops. Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues related to leaks, blockages, or mechanical failures. Utilize HVAC knowledge for integrating plumbing with heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems when necessary. Heavy lifting of materials and equipment while adhering to safety protocols on construction sites. Maintain detailed records of work performed, including schematics updates and maintenance logs. Travel will be expected many Weekdays with away from home stays during the week, per diem will be paid. GA and AL only. Not all weeks require overnight stays away. Must be able to meet at shop in Thomaston at 6am on weekdays. Experience Would love someone that has experience with slab roughs to fixture installation with minimal supervised direction. Proven field service experience with a strong background in construction plumbing projects. Hands-on experience with welding techniques relevant to plumbing applications. Skilled in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams for accurate installation and troubleshooting. Familiarity with the use of hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, and other mechanical equipment. Experience working on commercial construction sites with a focus on remodeling or maintenance projects. Valid driver's license for site access and material transport.
