Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings, including water supply lines, drainage, and fixtures. Use hand tools, power tools, plumbing inspection cameras, and pipe threading equipment to diagnose issues and execute repairs accurately. Perform drain cleaning using specialized equipment and techniques to ensure proper flow and prevent blockages. Interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and construction plans to guide installation or repair projects. Operate company vehicles safely while adhering to local driving laws and company policies for commercial driving. Conduct construction site inspections, ensuring compliance with local building codes and safety standards during all phases of work. Collaborate with team members on remodeling projects or construction sites, applying carpentry skills and mechanical knowledge as needed. Maintain detailed records of work performed, including inspection reports, schematics updates, and maintenance logs. Assist customers with troubleshooting water system issues while providing excellent customer service that fosters trust and satisfaction. Support the assembly of plumbing components during new installations or remodeling projects as required. Experience Proven construction experience with a strong background in residential plumbing; commercial plumbing experience is a plus. Skilled in welding, pipe threading, schematics reading, blueprint interpretation, and mechanical troubleshooting. Familiarity with HVAC systems related to plumbing setups is advantageous. Hands-on experience with plumbing inspection cameras, drain cleaning equipment, power tools, hand tools, and heavy lifting techniques. Knowledge of local building codes and regulations relevant to plumbing installation and repair work. Prior construction site experience including remodeling projects or new builds is highly desirable. Ability to interpret technical drawings accurately while maintaining attention to detail in all tasks. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations necessary for precise installations or repairs. Valid driver's license with the ability to operate a company vehicle safely; commercial driving experience preferred. Demonstrated handyman skills or experience in assembly and remodeling projects enhances versatility on the job.
