Job Description:
The Journeyman Plumber is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems in accordance with local and national plumbing codes. This role requires a high level of skill, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or lead a small team of apprentices. The ideal candidate is experienced, safety-conscious, and capable of interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to ensure proper installation and functionality of plumbing systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including water supply lines, fixtures, and drainage systems Diagnose and resolve plumbing issues efficiently and accurately Operate plumbing tools and equipment such as pipe threaders, soldering tools, and drain cleaning machines Ensure all work meets local plumbing codes, safety regulations, and company standards Communicate clearly and professionally with customers and team members Document work performed, materials used, and any recommendations for future service Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area and appearance Provide excellent customer service and represent the company with integrity
Qualifications:
4+ years of plumbing experience Idaho Journeyman's license Valid driver's license Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good communication and customer service skills Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work
