Apprentice Plumber

Plumbers Helper & Plumbers Apprentice Small service plumbing company in St Charles is seeking a motivated and responsible person(s) who is seeking a career where it will be necessary to work daily with your hands as well as your mind. You will be taught a diverse set of skills including sewer repair and maintenance, plumbing fixture repair and maintenance, water service repair and maintenance, water treatment, pump systems, groundwater management, water heating systems installation and repair, and water conservation. You will utilize these skills to help people (our customers) who may be in distress and in need of a prompt resolution to their problem. As a representative of our company, you will be expected to provide the customer with professional solutions and prompt service to solve their plumbing problem. As an employee here, you will be expected to report to work prepared, well organized, and on time because the work that you will be doing will most likely vary from day to day as your skills development makes you more proficient and competent. You must be strong physically, capable of lifting 50 to 80lbs from 4 to 10 times per hour and demonstrate flexibility along with manual dexterity and good arm-hand steadiness. Starting salary will be directly based on your experience, but our plumber's helpers typically start at $18.00/hr and receive up to $3/hr in raises their first year. Regrettably, these problems can occur at any time. Therefore, you may be required to occasionally work into the evening assisting our customers in need. You will also be expected to work occasional weekend days as well.
