Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings using hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment. Conduct plumbing inspections utilizing cameras and other diagnostic tools to identify issues within pipes and water systems. Perform drain cleaning, pipe threading, and assembly tasks to ensure optimal flow and system integrity. Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and construction plans to accurately execute plumbing projects. Operate company vehicles safely while transporting tools, materials, and equipment to job sites. Adhere strictly to local building codes and safety regulations during all phases of work. Conduct remodeling projects that involve plumbing system upgrades or modifications as needed. Utilize welding skills for specialized pipe repairs or installations requiring metal joining techniques. Perform routine maintenance on plumbing systems to prevent future issues and ensure longevity. Use plumbing inspection cameras for detailed diagnostics of hard-to-reach areas within pipes. Engage with customers professionally by providing clear explanations of work performed and offering maintenance advice. Qualifications Proven construction experience with a strong background in plumbing installation, repair, and maintenance. Skilled in drain cleaning, pipe threading, assembly, and remodeling tasks. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, plumbing inspection cameras, heavy lifting techniques, and construction site safety practices. Knowledge of local building codes related to residential and commercial plumbing systems. Experience operating company vehicles responsibly in various work environments. Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately for precise project execution. Strong understanding of water systems management including troubleshooting leaks or blockages. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients. Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and estimations related to plumbing projects. Handyman experience or general construction site experience is a plus for versatile project handling.
