IMMEDIATELY HIRING JOURNEYMAN PLUMBERS IN GREENSBORO, NC HOURS VARY, BUT TYPICALLY MONDAY-FRIDAY, 7AM-5PM PAY
$25-33 PER HOUR (DEPENDING
ON EXPERIENCE
) Responsibilities Install commercial, industrial and/or high end residential plumbing systems, including water supply lines, waste disposal systems, and related appliances and fixtures. Read and interpret blueprints, build plans, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout and installation requirements of plumbing systems. Plan, coordinate, and lay out rough-in piping and fixtures for new construction and renovation projects. Inspect and test installed plumbing systems to ensure proper fit and correct installation Perform soldering, brazing, and working with cast iron, copper, PVC and PEX piping. Use appropriate cutting tools and equipment to measure, cut, and install piping and fixtures to precise specifications. Essential Skills Proficiency in plumbing installation, including rough-in work for new construction and renovation projects. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications, and other technical documents. Hands-on experience working with copper, PEX, PVC and cast iron piping. Skilled in soldering and brazing Competence in using cutting tools and other plumbing-related equipment safely and accurately. Excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve plumbing issues efficiently. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as effectively within a team environment. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Greensboro, NC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $32.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
