Full-Time Job Summary Gregory Construction is seeking experienced Kentucky-licensed Journeyman Plumbers to join our field teams. The Journeyman Plumber is a hands-on position responsible for the installation, repair, testing, and maintenance of plumbing and piping systems. This position works under the direction of Gregory Construction's Master Plumber and field supervision to ensure work is completed safely, correctly, and in accordance with project drawings, specifications, applicable codes, and quality standards. We're looking for dependable, skilled plumbers who take pride in their craft, work well as part of a team, and are comfortable working in active construction environments. What You'll Do Install, assemble, modify, repair, and test plumbing and piping systems. Install domestic water, sanitary/waste, industrial water/waste, and related piping systems. Perform underground and aboveground piping installations. Install pipe, fittings, valves, supports, fixtures, backflow components, and related equipment. Measure, cut, prepare, join, and install piping using approved materials and methods. Read and work from construction drawings, specifications, layouts, and field measurements. Maintain proper elevations, slopes, supports, alignment, and installation quality. Assist with pressure and leakage testing, flushing, disinfection, inspections, and system turnover. Troubleshoot installation issues and communicate field conflicts to the Master Plumber or field supervision. Coordinate work with equipment operators, laborers, pipe crews, and other trades. Assist with training and guiding plumber apprentices as assigned. Properly use and maintain tools, equipment, and materials. Maintain a clean and safe work area. Follow Gregory Construction safety requirements and applicable OSHA standards. Perform other duties as assigned. What We're Looking For Current Kentucky Journeyman Plumber License required. Previous plumbing and piping installation experience. Experience with underground and/or aboveground piping preferred. Working knowledge of pipe, fittings, valves, supports, joining methods, and plumbing systems. Ability to read construction drawings and understand piping layouts. Ability to safely use plumbing tools and construction equipment associated with the work. Ability to work effectively with field crews and follow direction from the Master Plumber and field supervision. Strong attention to quality and workmanship. Dependable attendance and a strong commitment to jobsite safety. Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as required.
