Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in commercial buildings, including piping, fixtures, and appliances. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute plumbing layouts. Utilize hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques to complete installations. Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely on construction sites. Collaborate with project managers, electricians, HVAC specialists, and carpenters to ensure seamless project execution. Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues and implement timely repairs. Follow safety protocols diligently while working on construction sites and operating heavy machinery. Assist with remodeling projects by assembling plumbing components and integrating new systems into existing structures. Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and materials used for project records. Support site cleanup and organization to uphold a safe working environment. Experience Proven experience in construction plumbing within commercial settings is essential. Familiarity with construction site procedures, schematics reading, and blueprint interpretation. Knowledge of welding techniques, pipe threading, and mechanical systems installation. Hands-on experience with HVAC systems, schematics, and basic math calculations related to measurements and material estimations. Competence in using hand tools, power tools, heavy lifting equipment, and carpentry skills. Valid commercial driving license is preferred for transportation between sites. Prior handyman experience or involvement in remodeling projects is advantageous. Ability to work effectively on construction sites while adhering to safety standards.
