Duties Assist licensed plumbers with installing and repairing plumbing systems using hand tools and power tools. Prepare work areas by cleaning, organizing materials, and setting up equipment according to project specifications. Support pipe threading, cutting, and fitting activities to ensure precise assembly of plumbing components. Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand project requirements and layouts. Handle basic maintenance tasks on tools and equipment to ensure safety and efficiency on-site. Follow safety protocols diligently while working on construction sites to prevent accidents or injuries. Assist with remodeling, assembly, HVAC-related tasks, and general site cleanup as needed. Requirements Prior experience in construction or a related field is preferred but not mandatory; eagerness to learn is essential. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic math skills for measurements and calculations. Knowledge of construction plumbing systems, schematics, and blueprint reading is a plus. Ability to work safely on construction sites while following safety guidelines and procedures. Mechanical aptitude with understanding of HVAC systems or welding experience is advantageous. Strong physical stamina to stand, lift heavy materials, and perform manual tasks throughout the day.
