Our focus is in residential service and install with flexibility to take on commercial and remodel work. You might spend a couple days installing a boiler and then the next day doing a leak search and repair and the next replacing a faucet or figuring out why a boiler is leaking and repair it. We're looking for skilled, friendly, licensed professionals with residential service and/or install experience that love what they do. As a Plumbing Technician for Freiner Company, you will be responsible for: Carrying out regular maintenance of plumbing systems at commercial and residential sites Perform installation of plumbing systems as assigned Inspect previously installed plumbing systems at commercial and residential sites and perform any necessary repairs to previously installed systems Communicate and work with general contractors or homeowners, ensure client satisfaction Keep up to date with current safety regulations and requirements for the various plumbing systems a company installs and maintains Communicate well with team members and fellow employees Manage a work log including tracking your time on a job, ordering materials with accurate PO information, add related detailed notes about the job into appropriate applications in order to invoice customers properly with relevant information about what was completed during the service call You are responsible for the cleanliness of the jobsite and to not cause any unnecessary damage to the home. Leaving your work area looking better than when you first entered the home. Updating the office with any job or scheduling needs Adhere to Freiner Company policies.
Requirements:
Driver's License MA Journeyman Plumbing license or higher 2 + years working experience as licensed plumber, preferable in residential service Strong communication skills, a can-do, people person attitude who is driven to help Awareness of industry's latest technology trends and applications Able to learn various computer software and device applications Ability to think strategically and to lead and develop team members Advanced troubleshooting and multi-tasking skills Possess a sense of urgency Strong sense of prioritizations Maintain a calm demeanor What we offer: Competitive hourly pay based on experience and licensing Monday- Friday schedule with occasional overtime needed with rotating on call Health & Dental Insurance 6 Paid holidays, when they fall on a work day 40 hours accrued sick time annually Company vehicle & gas card After a year of employment: 401K with matching & additional 10 PTO days Uniforms, free swag, company events
