Role:

The Plumbing Drain Tech plays a critical role in maintaining and restoring the functionality of plumbing drainage systems across residential, commercial, and industrial properties. This position involves diagnosing, repairing, and preventing drainage issues to ensure efficient water flow and prevent property damage. The role requires a thorough understanding of plumbing systems, the ability to work with specialized tools and equipment, and adherence to safety and building codes. The Plumbing Drain Tech collaborates with clients and team members to provide timely and effective solutions, enhancing customer satisfaction and system reliability. Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Proven experience as a plumbing technician or drain specialist. Knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and safety procedures. Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and building codes.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certification or license as a plumber or plumbing technician. Experience with video inspection equipment and hydro-jetting technology. Familiarity with local plumbing codes and regulations. Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Inspect and diagnose issues within plumbing drainage systems using cameras, augers, and other diagnostic tools. Perform cleaning, repair, and replacement of pipes, drains, and related components to resolve blockages and leaks. Install new drainage systems or modify existing ones according to blueprints, specifications, and local codes. Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each job. Communicate effectively with customers to explain issues, recommend solutions, and provide cost estimates. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all phases of work. Respond promptly to emergency service calls and provide efficient solutions to minimize downtime.
