Dewey Square Group is a national public affairs firm that has been at the heart of major policy campaigns and has helped corporate and non-for-profit clients tackle their public, community, and government relations challenges for over 30 years. DSG seeks highly motivated individuals who are interested in politics, advocacy, research, public policy, social networks, and traditional media. DSG specializes in designing winning campaigns for clients utilizing our grassroots and grasstops activation strategies and message driven communications. Founded by three veteran political operatives, DSG's office is staffed by top strategists with Democratic ties. DSG's clients include Fortune 100 companies, national associations, and not-for-profit organizations. This is an excellent opportunity to learn about political consulting, organizing, and advocacy. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Long and short-term research projects Administrative support, including issue monitoring and tracking Creating content for social media networks Compiling daily press clips and news digests Writing and editing Assistance in compiling weekly reports and new business proposals
Qualifications:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excellent writing skills Ability to prioritize and multi-task Close attention to detail Political campaigns, community organizing, or communications experience are a plus. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply. Must be available to work Monday-Friday 9AM-5PM.
