General and Mechanical Services Inc. is a full-services commercial mechanical and plumbing contractor serving the Metro Washington D.C. area since 1983. We work primarily with local, state and the federal government on some of the most challenging and diverse mechanical projects.
WHO WE ARE SEEKING
Commercial Mechanical Contractor seeks candidates for Plumber position for commercial construction work in Frederick, MD Qualifications
  • 4+ years working on commercial construction projects. Licensed Maryland Journeyman or Master Plumber are preferred but not required.
  • BACKFLOW CERTIFICATION OR WILLINGNESS TO GET CERTIFIED.
  • ability to work independently and safely.
  • ability to solder Braze and use pro-press.
  • Thread pipe and work with steel pipe.
  • ability to fit steel pipe for welding.
  • ability to work off of drawings, understanding of how plumbing systems work.
  • punctual, responsible, with ability to perform clean work.
  • strong work ethic. Responsibilities
  • Work independently, efficiently, and safely.
  • run pipe for plumbing systems.
  • installation of equipment.
  • trouble shoot system.
  • work with job Superintendent to complete projects in a timely manner. Benefits
