Duties and Responsibilities:

Plans, prepares, installs, and maintains piping and plumbing systems composed of various materials; systems may include pipes, pressure and vacuum gauges, pipeline filters, steam traps, and strainer valves. Understanding of plumbing and mechanical system designs and diagrams. Refer to blueprints and schematics to install new systems and to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair existing equipment. Assembles fittings and valves for installation. Install pipes and fixtures per regulation. Modify length of pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing materials as needed for projects. Use hand tools as necessary. Test plumbing systems for leaks and other problems. Report or resolve problems as necessary.
