In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across various construction sites. Your expertise will ensure that plumbing installations meet safety standards, technical specifications, and project deadlines. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from commercial remodels to new construction developments, utilizing your mechanical knowledge and hands-on skills to deliver top-quality results. Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems using hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment on commercial and residential sites Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute plumbing layouts Perform pipe threading, welding, and assembly tasks with precision to ensure leak-proof connections Conduct inspections of plumbing systems during various phases of construction to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards Utilize basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and material estimations necessary for plumbing projects Assist with remodeling projects by removing old fixtures and installing new plumbing components in accordance with project specifications Operate heavy lifting equipment and perform manual labor involving heavy lifting to transport materials safely around the site Qualifications Proven experience in construction plumbing or related fields such as HVAC or general construction site work Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams related to plumbing systems Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques Mechanical knowledge of piping systems, fixtures, valves, and schematics for troubleshooting and repairs Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work effectively in physically demanding environments Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and material estimations Valid driver's license with commercial driving experience preferred for site transportation needs Handyman experience or background in remodeling projects is a plus Join our team as a Plumber Technician if you're passionate about building reliable systems that stand the test of time!
