Overview Embark on an exciting journey as an Apprentice Plumber, where you will gain hands-on experience in residential systems while working alongside seasoned professionals. This paid apprenticeship offers a unique opportunity to develop your skills in construction plumbing, pipe installation, and system maintenance within a dynamic and supportive environment. You will learn to interpret technical drawings, operate various hand and power tools, and understand local building codes—all essential for a successful career in plumbing. Join us to build a solid foundation in plumbing craftsmanship and contribute to high-quality installation and repair projects. Responsibilities Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems in residential settings. Learn to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to support plumbing projects. Operate hand tools, power tools, and pipe threading equipment safely and effectively Inventory management including a weekly check of all inventory, notation of low stock in items and reporting items that need to be ordered effectively. Follow safety protocols including heavy lifting techniques, construction site safety procedures, and local building codes. Contribute to general labor tasks such as unloading the work vehicles, organizing, and setting up equipment Skills Construction experience or familiarity with construction site environments. Knowledge of basic plumbing materials Ability to operate hand and power tools Strong communication skills for customer service interactions and team collaboration. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations; understanding of blueprint reading. Physical ability for heavy lifting, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces.
