Overview We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Journey Plumber to join our construction team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for executing complex plumbing installations across various construction sites and commercial projects. Your expertise will ensure that plumbing systems are installed correctly, operate efficiently, and meet all safety and plumbing code standards. Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment such as pipe threading machines. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute plumbing layouts and modifications. Perform mechanical tasks related to pipe fitting, system assembly, and remodeling projects. Conduct inspections on construction sites to ensure plumbing work complies with safety codes, schematics, and project specifications. Engage in heavy lifting and physical tasks required for pipe installation, system testing, and site cleanup. Collaborate with project managers, electricians, carpenters, and other trades to coordinate seamless construction workflows. Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including schematics updates and maintenance and hour logs. Support field service operations by troubleshooting plumbing issues efficiently on-site. Qualifications Proven experience in construction plumbing with a strong understanding of plumbing codes and safety standards. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and pipe threading machines. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately. Experience working on construction sites with an emphasis on safety protocols. Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and interpreting technical data. Valid drivers license and a clean driving record a plus. Valid State of Michigan Journey Plumbing license.
Pay:
$30.00 - $40.00 per hourBenefits:
