We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Service Plumber to join our growing team in Jackson, Michigan. If you are a skilled plumber who enjoys diagnosing problems, providing solutions, and building strong customer relationships, we want to hear from you. Position Summary The Service Plumber is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and installing residential and light commercial plumbing systems. This role requires strong technical knowledge, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently while maintaining high-quality workmanship. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair plumbing issues, including leaks, clogs, fixtures, water heaters, piping systems, and drain lines. Perform service, maintenance, and plumbing system inspections. Install and replace plumbing fixtures, water heaters, sump pumps, and related equipment. Utilize drain cleaning and diagnostic equipment, including sewer cameras and locating tools. Clearly explain repair options and recommendations to customers. Complete service tickets, invoices, and job documentation accurately. Maintain inventory and organization of company vehicles and equipment. Follow all company safety procedures and plumbing codes. Participate in on-call rotation as required. QualificationsRequired 3+ years of residential service plumbing experience. Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities. Knowledge of plumbing codes and best practices. Ability to lift and carry equipment and work in various environments. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Preferred Michigan Journeyman Plumber License. Experience with water heater installation and repair. Sewer and drain cleaning experience. Experience with service sales and maintenance agreements. Backflow certification (preferred but not required).
