Senior Plumbing Manager The Senior Plumbing Manager oversees plumbing operations and ensures projects are completed safely, efficiently, on time, and in compliance with applicable codes and company standards. This role is responsible for leading and developing plumbing teams, coordinating schedules, managing budgets and procurement, resolving complex technical issues, and maintaining strong client relationships. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Supervise, mentor, and support plumbers and other team members while ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. Plan, coordinate, and oversee plumbing projects, including installations, maintenance, repairs, and service work. Manage project budgets, procure materials and equipment, and monitor costs to support project profitability. Troubleshoot complex plumbing issues and ensure all work complies with applicable building codes, regulations, and company standards. Maintain positive client relationships, address questions or concerns, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. Enforce company safety policies and procedures and promote a safe working environment. Create and manage work schedules, coordinate with other departments and trades, and ensure projects are completed on schedule. Track project progress, monitor team performance, and identify opportunities to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency. Provide training and ongoing development for staff to ensure they remain current on industry techniques, procedures, equipment, working conditions, and safety requirements. Oversee and maintain appropriate inventory levels for plumbing materials, supplies, tools, and equipment. Skills and Qualifications Minimum of five years of related plumbing experience, including proven experience managing or supervising plumbing technicians. High school diploma or equivalent required. Vocational or technical training from a trade school, apprenticeship program, or military technical program preferred. Reliable, detail-oriented, highly organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities and responsibilities. Strong understanding of the plumbing industry, including installation, service, maintenance, and repair practices. Knowledge of applicable local plumbing and building codes, with the ability to use available resources to research and resolve technical issues. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to effectively lead, coach, and develop team members. Ability to climb stairs, ladders, and scaffolding and to stand, walk, sit, bend, reach, stoop, crouch, crawl, squat, and kneel as required. Ability to safely operate and manipulate hand tools, power tools, and plumbing equipment. Valid driver's license with an acceptable motor vehicle record. Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment background check.
