Job Summary Embark on an exciting journey as an Apprentice Plumber with Professional Mechanical Services, where you'll develop essential skills and gain hands-on experience in the plumbing trade. Duties Assist senior plumbers with installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems on construction sites and commercial buildings Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, and welding equipment safely and effectively Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and mechanical drawings to support plumbing projects Support the assembly of piping systems, fixtures, and HVAC components according to project specifications Conduct basic measurements and calculations using math skills to ensure accurate installations Participate in remodeling and handyman tasks related to plumbing and general maintenance Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials while adhering to safety protocols Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or coursework in construction or plumbing is a plus Strong interest in construction plumbing, mechanical systems, and building trades Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and basic carpentry skills Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately Basic math skills for measurements and calculations required on-site Previous experience on construction sites or with field service work is advantageous but not mandatory Excellent teamwork attitude with a willingness to learn new skills in a fast-paced environment This paid apprenticeship positions you at the forefront of the construction industry—building your expertise while contributing to meaningful projects.
