This paid apprenticeship offers a hands-on learning experience, where you'll develop essential skills in plumbing systems, construction site operations, and mechanical troubleshooting. Under the guidance of experienced professionals, you will gain practical knowledge in installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing infrastructure while supporting various construction projects.   • Responsibilities Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems on construction sites.
Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings related to plumbing systems. Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques safely and effectively under supervision. Support team members in performing pipe fitting, assembly, remodeling, and routine maintenance tasks. Help with site preparation, material handling, and ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times. Gain experience in field service activities including troubleshooting mechanical issues and performing system inspections. Participate in training sessions to develop skills in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and basic math calculations relevant to plumbing work. Experience 1-2 plus years prior professional experience required; a strong interest in construction plumbing or related fields is preferred. Basic understanding of construction concepts or handyman experience is a plus. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, or carpentry can be beneficial but is not mandatory. Demonstrated ability to follow instructions carefully and work safely on construction site Good communication skills and a proactive attitude are essential for success in this apprenticeship program.
