Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in commercial buildings, including water supply, drainage, and waste systems. Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and construction plans to execute projects accurately. Operate hand tools, power tools, plumbing inspection cameras, pipe threading equipment, and welding tools to complete installations and repairs efficiently. Conduct drain cleaning using specialized equipment to ensure optimal flow and prevent blockages. Perform plumbing system inspections and maintenance to identify issues early and prevent costly failures. Adhere to local building codes, safety regulations, and company standards during all phases of work. Collaborate with construction teams, HVAC specialists, carpenters, and other trades to coordinate project timelines and ensure seamless execution. Operate company vehicles safely while transporting tools, materials, and personnel to job sites. Use basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and material estimations necessary for plumbing projects. Assist with remodeling projects or handyman tasks as needed to support overall project goals. Skills Proven construction experience with a focus on commercial plumbing systems. Strong mechanical knowledge of water systems, plumbing components, schematics, and blueprints reading. Skilled in welding techniques and pipe threading for custom fittings or repairs. Experience with drain cleaning equipment and plumbing inspection cameras for diagnostics. Familiarity with local building codes and regulations governing commercial plumbing installations. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, heavy lifting equipment, and HVAC-related tools safely. Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients and team members. Construction site experience including remodeling or new build projects in commercial environments. Knowledge of carpentry basics relevant to plumbing installation or modifications. Mechanical aptitude combined with basic math skills for precise measurements and calculations. Valid driver's license with experience operating a commercial vehicle; clean driving record preferred.
