Journeyman Plumber Legacy Plumbing & Fire Sprinklers Seneca, MO 64865 From $28 an hour - Full-time From $28 an hour - Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Plumber to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across a variety of commercial and residential construction projects. Your expertise will ensure that plumbing installations meet safety standards, building codes, and project specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilize your technical skills, and contribute to high-quality construction outcomes. Duties Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, valves, and appliances on construction sites. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation of plumbing systems. Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, and welding equipment to complete plumbing tasks efficiently. Perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks required for pipe installation and system assembly. Collaborate with construction teams to coordinate plumbing work with carpentry, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), and other trades. Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues and perform preventative maintenance. Follow safety protocols at all times, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to OSHA standards. Requirements Valid Journeyman Plumber license or certification recognized in the relevant jurisdiction. Proven experience in construction plumbing and working on construction sites. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and blueprints accurately. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, welding tools, and basic math skills for measurements and calculations. Experience with remodeling, maintenance work, or handyman tasks is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle physically demanding tasks regularly. Knowledge of HVAC systems and schematics is advantageous. Valid driver's license with commercial driving experience preferred for site access or material transport.
