Position Overview The Service Plumber is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential and light commercial settings. This position requires strong troubleshooting ability, customer interaction, and the ability to work independently in the field. Key Responsibilities Diagnose and repair plumbing issues including leaks, clogs, fixtures, and water heaters Perform service calls and communicate findings clearly with customers Install and replace plumbing fixtures and system components Maintain accurate job documentation using phone or tablet Ensure work is completed safely and in compliance with applicable codes Maintain a clean, organized service vehicle and work area Coordinate with office staff regarding scheduling and job updates Participate in on-call rotation as required Physical Requirements Ability to walk, stand, and move throughout residential and commercial job sites for the duration of the workday Frequently lift, push, pull, or carry materials up to 50 pounds Perform physical activities including bending, kneeling, crawling, and working in confined spaces such as crawlspaces and attics Work in outdoor and indoor environments in varying weather conditions Safely operate tools, equipment, and company vehicles Maintain attention to detail and work safely at all times Reliable transportation and consistent attendance Preferred Qualifications 2 plus years of plumbing service experience Experience with water heaters including tank and tankless systems Familiarity with plumbing codes and standard service practices Experience using service software or mobile field applications Why Join Us Growing company with steady work Team-focused environment Competitive pay based on experience Health, dental, vision, and supplemental insurance available Paid time off and company holidays Opportunity for long-term growth Additional Information Reliance Mechanical maintains a drug-free workplace.
