Job Description

Job Summary We're a small, locally owned plumbing & heating company looking for a dependable plumber to join our team. We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, shows up, and wants to be part of a good crew. Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, gas piping systems, and HVAC components in accordance with local building codes and project plans. Read blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to accurately execute plumbing layouts and system designs. Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques to assemble and install plumbing components efficiently. Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on existing plumbing systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety regulations. Collaborate with construction teams, carpenters, HVAC technicians, and field service personnel to coordinate project timelines and resolve technical issues promptly. Adhere strictly to safety regulations during all phases of work to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others. Perform heavy lifting, remodeling tasks, pipe installation, and assembly work as needed on construction sites or during maintenance projects. Skills Proven construction experience with a strong background in residential and commercial plumbing projects. Knowledge of plumbing building codes, local building codes, mechanical knowledge related to HVAC systems, and building code compliance standards. Experience with maintenance, repair operations (MRO), system troubleshooting, and plumbing system maintenance. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members. Ability to perform basic math calculations necessary for measurements and material estimations; carpentry skills are a plus. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) or ability to obtain one is preferred for site transportation needs. Strong safety awareness with a commitment to following safety regulations at all times.
