Job Description
Job Summary Commercial Plumber:
This individual will possess 2 or more years' experience and can work unsupervised with the ability to trouble shoot and make calculated decisions. This position is considered a lead position and will be responsible for supervising and overseeing 1-3 men. This person furthermore can perform the following duties and personally has the following tools. Responsibilities and Duties Skills Competency- Show's up for work on time and is dependable
- Has valid driver's License's
- Clear understanding and knowledge of all plumbing codes
- Competently perform all aspects of plumbing to include underground rough-in, top-out, and final trim out of setting fixtures
- Competently read and understand all aspects of blue prints. Understanding how to read the Architectural and Structural sheets to pull measurements for walls and plumbing rough-in
- Comprehend submittal and cut sheets to obtain proper heights, locations, and clearances for plumbing rough-in
- Experience with all types of piping
- Copper, Pex, CPVC, PVC, Cast Iron, Screw Pipe, etc
- Can both Silver solider and Soft Solider Copper
- Experience with excavation. Qualifications and Skills Commercial Plumber Tool list:(Company will provide Corded Saw Saw, Band Saw, and Hammer Drill) Must have all basic hand tools for plumbing plus the following
- Cordless drill (impact, saw saw, and skill saw preferable
- Tubing cutters: 10's, 15's, and 20's-Crimpers for Pex
- Hack saw/hand saw
- Pipe wrenches
- Turbo Torch with B tank and map torch (company will supply gas and tips
- Flaring block-Small wrenches such as box wrenches, allen tools, and screwdrivers-Set out tools
- Spud wrench, adjustable wrench, etc
- Tape measure-levels: torpedo, 2ft, and 4ft Benefits 1 week paid vacation (After a year) Paid holidays after 90 days.
