Full Job Description Key Responsibilities:
Review construction schedules, with assistance from department manager to maintain schedules to ensure timely completion of service calls. Coordinate project material and equipment needs, and deliveries. Analyzes systems and reviews findings to determine source of problem, and recommends repair, replacement, or other corrective action. Double-checks work to prevent callbacks. Provides on-site technical assistance to help troubleshoot and repair equipment. Completes and forwards service tickets in a comprehensive and legible fashion. Provides a communication link between the customer and the company to help ensure that effective service is provided to the customer. Responds to service calls in timely fashion, including after hours if assigned to provide emergency service. Attends schools and seminars to maintain and advance technical knowledge. Complies with company policies and procedures, focusing on safety compliance.
Qualifications:
Driver's license in good standing and good driving history is required. 10+ years commercial service plumbing technician experience required. Trade school certificate and 2 years' experience OR 5 years on job experience as service technician. Ability and willing to learn and improve. Available to work on-call and respond immediately to plumbing emergencies. Able to read technical designs and blueprints. Expert knowledge in piping and ventilation systems.
