Job Description
Confidential Leadership Opportunity An established and growing home services company in the Piedmont Triad is seeking an experienced North Carolina licensed plumber to help build and lead our plumbing division. This is not simply another service plumbing position. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their craft, treats customers honestly, and wants the opportunity to help build something from the ground up. The right person will initially be hands-on in the field while also helping develop the people, processes, and standards that will shape the division as it grows. Teaching and developing others is an important part of this position. We want someone who enjoys sharing their knowledge, training less-experienced technicians, and helping good people become great plumbers. As the division grows, we want this individual to grow from being primarily a technician into a leadership and training role. What You'll Do Perform residential plumbing service, repair, installation, and diagnostic work Provide customers with honest recommendations without high-pressure or unnecessary upselling Help establish plumbing procedures, quality standards, and best practices Train, mentor, and develop future plumbing technicians Assist with recruiting and building the plumbing team Work directly with ownership on the growth and direction of the division Maintain the professional and technical standards expected of a licensed plumbing operation. What We're Looking For Active North Carolina plumbing license in good standing Strong residential service plumbing experience A genuine desire and ability to teach, train, and mentor others Excellent communication and customer-service skills High level of integrity and professional judgment Leadership mindset and desire to help build a team . Someone interested in a long-term opportunity rather than simply their next plumbing job. Compensation & Growth $35-$42 per hour, based on experience and qualifications, plus performance bonus opportunities. This position has significant long-term earning potential for the right person. Our goal is to create a compensation structure where increased responsibility, leadership, team development, and the successful growth of the plumbing division create opportunities for compensation well beyond the starting hourly wage. We are not building a commission-driven culture where technicians are pressured to sell customers unnecessary work. Performance incentives will be structured around the success of the division, quality of work, customer satisfaction, leadership, and responsible growth. As the division grows, so can the position, responsibility, and compensation. What We Offer $35-$42/hour starting compensation Performance bonus opportunities Company vehicle Paid holidays and paid vacation Modern equipment and administrative support Direct access to company ownership Opportunity to help build and eventually lead a growing plumbing operation Opportunity to train and develop your own team Long-term advancement and income potential Confidential hiring process Our Culture We believe long-term success comes from doing excellent work and treating people fairly. Our technicians are not expected to manufacture problems or pressure customers into work they don't need. We believe that if we diagnose accurately, communicate clearly, perform excellent work, and take care of our customers, the business will grow. We're looking for a licensed plumber who shares that philosophy and wants the opportunity to help build a plumbing operation around it. Currently employed? We understand. All applications, inquiries, and interviews will be handled confidentially.
