Responsibilities Assist senior plumbers with installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential, commercial, or industrial settings. Support the setup and operation of construction plumbing equipment, including pipe threading and welding tools. Learn to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand project requirements. Participate in measuring, cutting, fitting, and assembling piping systems using hand tools and power tools. Help with site preparation, including material handling, carpentry tasks, and basic remodeling work. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols on construction sites. Assist with routine maintenance tasks on plumbing fixtures, HVAC systems, and mechanical components. Skills Strong interest in construction plumbing, pipe installation, and mechanical systems. Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and pipe threading techniques. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. Familiarity with construction site safety practices and OSHA regulations. Good mathematical skills for measurements and calculations related to plumbing layouts. Hands-on experience or familiarity with HVAC systems, remodeling projects, or handyman work is a plus.
