Job Summary Join our dynamic team as an Apprentice Plumber and kick-start your career in the construction and plumbing industry! This paid apprenticeship offers hands-on experience working alongside skilled professionals on a variety of plumbing projects. You will learn essential skills such as pipe installation, blueprint reading, and the use of hand and power tools while gaining valuable knowledge of construction site safety, mechanical systems, and maintenance procedures. This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to develop their technical expertise and grow within a supportive environment. Responsibilities Assist senior plumbers with installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential, commercial, or industrial settings. Support the setup and operation of construction plumbing equipment, including pipe threading and welding tools. Learn to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand project requirements. Participate in measuring, cutting, fitting, and assembling piping systems using hand tools and power tools. Help with site preparation, including material handling, carpentry tasks, and basic remodeling work. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols on construction sites. Assist with routine maintenance tasks on plumbing fixtures, HVAC systems, and mechanical components. Skills Strong interest in construction plumbing, pipe installation, and mechanical systems. Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and pipe threading techniques. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. Familiarity with construction site safety practices and OSHA regulations. Good mathematical skills for measurements and calculations related to plumbing layouts. Hands-on experience or familiarity with HVAC systems, remodeling projects, or handyman work is a plus.
